NASH COUNTY - Shortly after 23:00 hours on January 25, Nash County 911 began receiving calls reporting flames coming from the roof of the bar and tavern known as the "Hard Luck Saloon" (formerly known as "Bachelors Tavern") located at 813 East Nash Street in the Spring Hope section of Nash County.
The New Hope Fire Department of Orange County has two vacancies for Captain positions.
The Town of Wrightsville Beach announces posting of a FEO position with the Fire Department.

CHARLOTTE - Charlotte Ladder 32 was involved in a collision early Sunday morning.
NASH COUNTY - On Sunday December 7, Nash County 911 received a call reporting a farm house on fire on Halifax Road in the Dortches section of Red Oak. Fire units from Red Oak, West Mount and Nashville along with Nash County EMS units were dispatched.
MACON COUNTY - A Volunteer Firefighter was killed in an overnight fire at his residence.
